Basically what I'm asking is how the hell do I get all my movies off my MacBook Air and on to my XBox One so I can have a constant library of all my movies ready to go whenever I want to watch and on top of that still be able to keep them all in. mp4 files and that's what all of my movies are converted to. The problem I now run in to (after finding a hard drive that would work with both my Mac and Windows systems) is that I keep hearing XBox One doesn't play. ![]() Ideally what I want to do is get an external hard drive (the WD My Cloud 2TB), plug it in to the back of my XBox, throw all my movies from my MacBook on to the hard drive via the cloud and then access the hard drive on my XBox and play the movies on my TV that way. What I would like to do is essentially build an in-home on demand movie service catered directly to me and run it through my XBox One. So, I operate on a MacBook Air and use that to torrent all of my movies. Ok folks, here's my ease keep in mind I am not the greatest tech mind alive but I can navigate my way through enough stuff to learn things.
